Our Favorite Spots

Local Money Saving Markets and Coupon Policies (websites are linked)

Super H – Super H mails out coupons every week and they ALWAYS have amazing sales on produce, meats and fish. This is the place to go for good food for good prices.

Costco – Costco only accepts Costco coupons that are mailed out on the first Thursday of every month.

BJ’sWarehouse BJ’s only accepts BJ’s coupons that are mailed out at the beginning of the month

Sam’s Sam’s only accepts Sam’s coupons that are mailed out at the beginning of the month.

Walmart – Walmart has great prices on all of their foods, but they also have coupons. They do not double coupons and they are picky about which competitor’s coupon that they will match.

Dekalb Farmer’s Market – No coupons, but TONs of sales!

Publix – I love Publix because the accept all competitor’s coupons. They also double up to $0.50. When you see the Buy One Get One deals, you don’t have to buy two, you can just get one for half off! Also, you can use a manufacture’s coupon along with a store coupon for even more savings. Some local stores double coupons higher or triple them on certain days. Call your local Publix and they will share the policy with you. Our local Publix has a penny item in each Thursday’s AJC which can really add up if it is something that you need.

Kroger – Kroger does NOT accept competitor’s coupons which makes me cringe. They do double coupons up to $0.50. One thing I love that they do is they have digital coupons that you can link directly to your Kroger Plus card so when you scan it, the coupons checks in.

Ingles – Ingles has a lot of great sales, but I am not crazy about their coupon policy. They double based on the amount spent. For example, if you spend $10.00 they will double up to $3.00 in coupons, if you spend $20.00, they will double up to $6.00 in coupons. They do NOT match competitors coupons.

Whole Foods (Whole Paycheck)- Whole Foods has a fish sale each week which I love to partake in. They also put some of their fresh meats on sale as well. There sales are easy to find because they are marked with an orange tag. They also have their own coupons in the store and online.

Our Garden- This is the most cheap and free place we shop. We really capitalize on our garden in the summer. When we have an abundance of herbs and spices, we freeze or dry them for use in the winter!
